UNION VACATION ACCOUNT

As per Section 6.02 of the current Agreement Between Local Union No. 16, I.B.E.W. - AFL-CIO and Evansville Division, Southern Indiana Chapter, N.E.C.A., Inc., "The employer agrees to withhold 5% of gross wages for each employee."

Transmittal and check must be received by the Union no later than the 15th of the following month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or there is a holiday, additional time may be required.

Once the Union receives the check and report from the contractors, each member is entered per contractor. You may notice several entries in your vacation account. This is due to some members having worked for multiple contractors in a month and members are paid per contractor. 

Your vacation withholding is your money. If you feel that the vacation amount is incorrect, please contact the Hall (812-867-9670 EXT 4) and we will ensure that your deposit is correct.
